While she dismisses any longing for Che Guevara, she expresses remorse over a missed opportunity with the renowned singer responsible for hits like “Let’s Get It On” and “s**ual Healing.”

Recalling a poignant moment with Marvin Gaye, Fonda discloses, “He expressed interest, but I declined.

At that time, I was committed to Tom [Hayden].”

She elaborates on the encounter, revealing how their paths crossed through mutual acquaintances, leading to a surprising revelation posthumously.

Despite this, she labels Marlon Brando as “disappointing,” albeit acknowledging his prowess as a performer.

On a lighter note, Fonda reminisces about her female co-star from “Blue Bird,” Ava Gardner, whom she lauds as “the epitome of sensuality.”

Describing Gardner as a mix of charm and allure, Fonda holds her in high regard.

Despite her rich tapestry of relationships, the “Grace and Frankie” star asserts that romance is not a priority in her current phase of life.

Content with her familial bonds and friendships, Fonda asserts, “I have no inclination towards pursuing romance.

My focus lies on nurturing my connections with my children, grandchildren, and friends.”

Emphasizing her packed schedule, Fonda reflects on the freedom she enjoys without the demands of a romantic relationship.

She underscores the sense of fulfillment derived from engaging in personal pursuits without the constraints of maintaining a partnership.

Moreover, Fonda attributes her radiant appearance to her involvement in climate change activism, a cause close to her heart.

With a new book titled “What Can I Do?”

dedicated to this issue, Fonda stresses the positive impact of activism on her overall well-being.

Addressing her fashion choices, Fonda reveals her decision to abstain from further clothing purchases, opting to recycle her extensive wardrobe instead.

She credits her timeless style to her ability to maintain a consistent physique over the years.

“What Can I Do?

My Path from Climate Despair to Action,” penned by Fonda, is slated for release on Sept. 8, encapsulating her journey towards environmental advocacy.
