In an unexpected turn of events, Jason Priestley, best known for his role as Brandon Walsh in the iconic TV series Beverly Hills, 90210, has come forward with a startling claim.
According to the actor, he once found himself in a physical altercation with disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein at a Golden Globes party back in 1995.
The incident reportedly took place during a gathering hosted by Miramax, the production company that Weinstein co-founded and co-ran at the time.
Weinstein, who has been at the center of numerous s**ual misconduct allegations in recent times, has chosen to remain silent regarding Priestley’s account of the altercation.

Reflecting on the evening in question, Priestley, now 48 years old, took to Twitter to provide a detailed recollection of the confrontation.
“At the ’95 Golden Globes… at the Miramax Party… Harvey told me I had to leave,” Priestley shared.
“I was leaving when he grabbed me by the arm and said, ‘What are you doing?’
I said, ‘You told me to leave, I’m leaving.'”
