Mila Kunis didn’t mince her words when addressing Ashton Kutcher’s questionable conduct during his marriage to Demi Moore.
Shortly after divorcing Moore amid speculations of infidelity, Kutcher embarked on a romantic journey with Kunis, his friend and co-star from That ’70s Show.
Kunis directly called out Kutcher for his actions in his previous relationship.
Recalling the conversation, Kutcher revealed that Kunis straightforwardly told him, “You were an asshole,” leaving no room for doubt.
Despite his attempt to question further, Mila reiterated, “Yeah, you were an asshole for a good two years.”
However, Kunis did not let Kutcher’s past define their relationship.
The couple tied the knot in 2015 and later became parents to two children – 8-year-old daughter Wyatt and 6-year-old son Dimitri.
Kutcher expressed how he admired Kunis for her independence, acknowledging that they both recognized each other’s flaws and strengths before committing to each other.
In a candid interview, Kutcher reflected on his divorce from Moore, a topic he finds discomforting to revisit.
He admitted, “Nothing makes you feel like a failure like divorce.
Divorce feels like a wholesale failure at marriage.” The cheating allegations further tainted Kutcher’s image, leading to uncomfortable encounters where he overheard industry peers discussing the scandal in his presence, causing him humiliation and embarrassment.
When asked about his coping mechanism, Kutcher emphasized the importance of owning up to past mistakes and moving forward.
Taking responsibility for his wrongdoings, he stressed the significance of acknowledging one’s faults and striving for personal growth beyond setbacks.
