Brad Pitt’s Unconventional Hygiene Habits Revealed by Former Roommate

In a recent interview on Live With Kelly and Mark, Jason Priestley shared insights from his time as a roommate with Hollywood star Brad Pitt.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 actor reminisced about their living arrangement, revealing that they once engaged in a peculiar competition to test their endurance without showering while cohabitating in a modest apartment in Los Angeles.

Priestley fondly recalled the period when Pitt was one of his roommates, alongside another individual, in a cramped two-bedroom apartment in a less affluent area of L.A.

Reflecting on their unorthodox living situation, Priestley mentioned, “Yes, yes he was one of my roommates for a brief period of time.

There were three of us living in a two bedroom apartment in a really crappy part of L.A.”

Describing Pitt as a tolerable housemate compared to their other companion, Priestley jokingly disclosed, “Brad wasn’t as bad as my other roommate, who was an absolute disaster, but Brad was okay.”

He went on to reveal an unusual pastime they shared, stating, “We used to play this game, all of us, to see who could go the longest without showering.

I think about it now, I’m like ‘Dude, how disgusting!

What were you thinking?’”

When probed about the outcome of these hygiene-defying challenges, Priestley admitted that Pitt consistently emerged as the victor.

“Brad, always Brad.

I don’t think he does that anymore, but back then, he could go a long time without showering,” Priestley remarked with a hint of amusement.

Throughout Pitt’s career, snippets of his grooming habits have surfaced intermittently.

One such anecdote involves his Inglourious Basterds co-star Eli Roth sharing a time-saving tip Pitt suggested for freshening up during the filming of Quentin Tarantino’s war epic.

Roth recounted Pitt’s advice to PEOPLE in 2009, stating, “He shared that when you’re sweating and don’t have time to take a shower, you just take a baby wipe and rub it under your armpits.”

In a separate instance in 2013, Pitt candidly acknowledged that he may not always exude a pleasant aroma on set, particularly during physically demanding shoots.

Speaking about his experience filming World War Z, he candidly admitted to E!, “You don’t always smell so nice with a thousand extras—me included, by the way—but it’s good fun.

Really good fun.”

Despite his past aversion to regular showers, Pitt appears to have refined his personal scent over the years.

Testimonials from individuals like Laura Simpson, who attended the Oscars with Jennifer Lawrence, attest to this transformation.

Simpson expressed awe at Pitt’s natural fragrance, claiming, “Like nothing I’ve ever smelled.

Eventually we ask what cologne he’s wearing and he tells us, ‘I don’t wear cologne, it’s just my musk I guess.’

I have to choose not to believe him because it would just be unfair
