Aubrey Plaza Sheds Light on ‘Parks and Recreation’ Cast Member Known for Unique Sounds (Exclusive)

The Parks and Recreation ensemble always knows how to have a good time together!

Recently, the beloved actors of the hit comedy came together for a special PaleyFest gathering at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Hollywood to commemorate the show’s remarkable 10-year anniversary.

The event saw the presence of fan favorites such as Chris Pratt, Nick Offerman, Amy Poehler, Aziz Ansari, Retta, and a host of others.

Prior to the panel discussion, ET’s Keltie Knight engaged in a chat with Aubrey Plaza, famous for her role as April Ludgate across all seven seasons of the show.

During this exchange, Plaza shared some amusing behind-the-scenes anecdotes, including revealing a surprising tidbit about a cast member known for their unique bodily sounds.

Plaza was tasked with responding to Offerman’s intriguing “ET’d Up” query, where a star poses a question for the next celebrity.

Offerman’s query revolved around identifying the cast member responsible for creating favorite noises using their body.

In a candid revelation, Plaza humorously disclosed, “That is so irritating because Nick and Pratt used to unleash their bodily sounds frequently.

It would often annoy Amy and me!

So, I am going to gracefully opt out of that question with respect to Nick.”

Debuting on April 9, 2009, Parks and Rec garnered immense popularity, running successfully for seven seasons until its conclusion in 2015.

Reflecting on the experience of reuniting with her co-stars, Plaza expressed her disbelief at the scale of the gathering.

“This is beyond belief!”

exclaimed Plaza regarding the reunion.

“I never expected it to be this grand.

It’s surreal.

We truly are like a family, making it feel just like a family get-together.”

When questioned about revisiting the older episodes, Plaza remarked on the transformative journey she witnessed.
