Brad Pitt’s Cover-Up: Geena Davis Reveals Details of ‘Thelma and Louise’ Shoot

Brad Pitt, the renowned actor, reportedly felt “embarrassed” by a spot on his buttocks during the filming of a s** scene in the iconic movie ‘Thelma and Louise’.

His co-star from the 1991 film, Geena Davis, shared this intriguing detail in her latest autobiography titled ‘Dying of Politeness’.

In the book, Davis, aged 66, disclosed that a makeup artist discreetly concealed the blemish on Pitt’s rear in between shooting breaks.

According to an excerpt from her memoir published by The Sun on Sunday, Geena Davis revealed, “Brad, for his part, couldn’t have cared less about all the fuss over his looks.

He was just embarrassed about a tiny little pimple on his b*tt that the makeup gal re-covered after each take.”

Moreover, Davis mentioned that she reluctantly agreed to reveal more skin than originally intended in the scene at the behest of director Ridley Scott.

This decision came about after several body doubles tried out to stand in for her, causing discomfort.

She recollected, “I was uncomfortable with the projected extent of skin I was being asked to show, so Ridley Scott found himself interviewing a slew of body doubles who were more used to flashing the flesh than I was.”

The actress further shared, “A line of them snaked through the lot where we were filming, right past my trailer door, and I couldn’t stand it any longer – I’d worked as a model, after all – so I told Ridley I’d do it.”

Ridley Scott, the director, appeared to be more focused on Brad Pitt’s appearance during the scene, ensuring meticulous lighting and even personally spritzing Pitt’s abs with Evian water.

Brad Pitt, a father of six children, currently entangled in a legal dispute with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to star in ‘Thelma and Louise’.

In the film, Pitt portrayed JD, a con artist who deceives Geena Davis’ character Thelma, leading to a series of thefts and calamities culminating in the infamous cliff-driving scene with Louise, played by Susan Sarandon.

Reflecting on his casting in the movie, Pitt admitted, “I had nothing to show for myself, except for my work as an extra, and they took a chance on me.”

He also humorously remarked on his performance, saying, “My a** must have been clenched so tight, being the first one.”

Recalling the audition process, Pitt revealed that he clinched the role following a final showdown with five other actors, including George Clooney, wherein Geena Davis’ enthusiastic exclamation, “The blond one… hello!”

sealed his fate.
