Actress Catherine Tyldesley has recently shared that her husband, Tom Pitfield, is feeling quite upset after she divulged some intimate details about their marriage.
The former Coronation Street star disclosed that Tom wasn’t bothered by her on-screen intimate scenes with other men and even offered her advice on how to appear better on camera.
In a somewhat apologetic tone, Catherine took to Instagram to share with her followers, “Tom was not in the mood to join me.
He’s angry.
I’m annoyed too; he doesn’t realize what he’s missing out on!
It’s a solo party.”
Catherine, who is known for her role in Corrie and her participation in Strictly Come Dancing, mentioned that she seeks Tom’s input before her steamy acting performances.
The 38-year-old actress expressed her gratitude for having a partner like Tom who is understanding and not possessive about her working closely with other male actors.
She reflected on past relationships where jealousy over her profession had caused issues, but Tom’s relaxed attitude has been a refreshing change.
Recalling a particular incident before shooting intimate scenes, Catherine humorously shared, “I asked him, ‘Does my backside look unflattering in this position?
Do I have a ‘cauliflower b*m’?’
And he’d respond, ‘A bit like that, babe.'”
Having her photographer husband present on set while she portrayed romantic scenes with other actors has been a positive experience for Catherine.
During lockdown filming, Tom noticed her well-groomed legs and joked about it, showing his supportive and light-hearted approach to her work.
Catherine and Tom tied the knot in 2016 in the presence of their friends from Coronation Street at Colshaw Hall in Cheshire.
Their son Alfie recently turned seven, and they are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their second child, a daughter, next month.
As Catherine battles sickness, exhaustion, and sleep deprivation, Tom has taken on the responsibility of looking after Alfie.
Sharing her struggles on the Hot Mess Mums Club podcast, Catherine emotionally stated, “He sometimes brings tears to my eyes.
It feels like Tom has been managing parenting mostly alone for months because I’ve found it incredibly challenging.”
