The incident occurred when Grohl took a fall off the stage at Ullevi stadium, leading to an abrupt pause in the show for medical attention, as reported by the BBC.

During the performance, just two songs into the set, Grohl misjudged a jump and landed in the security pit, resulting in a broken leg.

Despite the pain, he assured the audience, “You have my promise right now that the Foo Fighters, we’re gonna come back and finish this show.”

With a remarkable sense of determination, Grohl expressed his regret for the interruption but vowed to return after seeking medical treatment.

Upon Grohl’s departure for medical assistance, drummer Taylor Hawkins took charge of the stage, guiding the band through a series of covers in the absence of their lead singer.

Approximately an hour later, Grohl made a remarkable return, being wheeled back on a stretcher and placed on a chair to continue performing for over two hours.

Unfortunately, the injury necessitated the cancellation of upcoming performances, including the Pinkpop Festival on June 14th and a show in St. Gallen, Switzerland on June 16th.
