Accuser in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs s**ual Assault Lawsuit Adds Cuba Gooding Jr. to Legal Battle

Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a music producer who previously sued Sean “Diddy” Combs for allegations of s**ual assault and harassment in February, has now included actor Cuba Gooding Jr. in the lawsuit.

What unfolded recently was a significant update to Jones’s complaint.

On the same day that authorities conducted raids on two of Combs’s properties as part of an ongoing s** trafficking inquiry, Jones’s legal filing in federal court against Combs and various associates was modified to name the renowned Jerry Maguire actor as an additional defendant.

In the lawsuit initially lodged on Feb. 26, Jones asserted that Gooding, an Academy Award winner in 1997, had subjected him to s**ual harassment and assault during an incident on Combs’s yacht.

While the nature of Jones’s accusations against Gooding remains consistent within the complaint, the key alteration is the inclusion of Gooding as a co-defendant.

The chain of events leading up to this legal development traces back to the previous month when Jones, a producer associated with Combs’s upcoming 2023 album, filed a lawsuit against Combs and several others.

In the explosive lawsuit, Jones alleged that Combs coerced him into engaging with s** workers, including minors, and participating in unwelcome s**ual activities.

Furthermore, Jones claimed that some of these s** workers were provided drugs by Combs and his associates, leading to a disturbing incident where Jones woke up disoriented and unclothed in a bed alongside Combs and two s** workers, suspecting he had been drugged.

The lawsuit, brought forth in the Southern District of New York, also accused Combs of manipulating Jones to be introduced to his acquaintances.

Among these connections was Gooding, who allegedly harassed and assaulted Jones.

The purported incident took place on Combs’s chartered yacht between December 2022 and January 2023, when Combs introduced Gooding to Jones and left them alone in the studio to interact.

Jones detailed how Gooding made unwanted advances, touching various parts of his body despite rejection, until Jones pushed him away forcefully.

The legal complaint even featured screenshots from a video displaying Gooding with his arm around Jones.

The revised lawsuit now identifies Gooding as a defendant alongside Combs, Combs’s son Justin, Sean Combs’s Love Records, Motown Records, and Universal Music Group.

As of now, there has been no response from Gooding’s representative to inquiries made by Yahoo Entertainment.

Jones, known for his musical prowess and ability to play 13 instruments, revealed that he was approached by Combs’s team in September 2022 to produce The Love Album: Off the Grid.

Over the next year, Jones collaborated with Combs, producing nine tracks for the album.

During this period, Jones lived with Combs, witnessing instances of drug usage, possession of unregistered firearms, and interactions between fellow rappers and underage individuals involved in inappropriate activities.

On the same day that Combs’s residences in Miami and Los Angeles were searched by Homeland Security in connection with a s** trafficking probe, Jones amended his complaint for the second time.

Combs had been accused of s** trafficking by his former partner Cassie in October, along with further claims from a Jane Doe and two additional women alleging s**ual misconduct.

Combs has consistently denied all allegations against him, dismissing them as fabrications.

He reached a settlement in the lawsuit filed by Cassie.

In light of Gooding’s legal history, the lawsuit highlights that the actor’s reputation has suffered due to multiple s**ual assault lawsuits and a recent guilty plea related to s**ual assault.

Gooding has faced a series of legal challenges in recent years.

In 2022, he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of forcible touching at a nightclub in New York City, avoiding incarceration.

Allegations against Gooding included incidents involving multiple women across Manhattan nightclubs between 2018 and 2019.

Prosecutors disclosed that 30 women came forward with claims of groping by Gooding.

Moreover, Gooding reached a settlement with a woman identified as Jane Doe, just before her civil case accusing him of rape in a New York City hotel room in 2013 was set to proceed to jury selection.

Additionally, prior to the expiration of New York’s Adult Survivors Act, Gooding faced two civil lawsuits for s**ual assault.

One plaintiff, Kelsey Harbert, reported an incident where Gooding inappropriately touched her at a bar in front of his girlfriend.

Another plaintiff, Jasmine Abbay, a waitress, alleged that Gooding forcibly kissed her without consent at a restaurant and nightclub.
