Former Model Accuses George Takei of s**ual Assault

A former model and actor has come forward accusing “Star Trek” legend George Takei of s**ual assault, dating back to an incident in 1981.

Scott R. Brunton revealed that when he was 23 years old, Takei allegedly took advantage of him after a night out they had together.

Brunton admitted that he had harbored hesitations about sharing his story for years due to concerns about not being believed.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Brunton expressed, “This occurred a long time ago, but it has remained etched in my memory.

It’s a tale that I’ve recounted over the years in various social settings where people share unusual life experiences.

However, speaking about it now makes me extremely anxious.”

Back in 1981, Brunton was employed as a waiter at a Hollywood bar where he first encountered Takei, who was around 43 or 44 years old at the time.

They exchanged contact details, conversed frequently on the phone, and frequently bumped into each other at local clubs, according to Brunton’s account to THR.

Following Brunton’s breakup with his then-boyfriend, Takei reached out to him.

“He asked me for my new number after the split, which I provided.

Shortly after my breakup and relocation, George phoned me,” Brunton recounted.

He remembered Takei being supportive and understanding during his distress over the breakup, offering a listening ear as Brunton poured his heart out.

During one evening at a bar, Brunton alleged that Takei offered to buy him another drink, which he accepted.

Subsequently, Brunton described feeling disoriented and dizzy after consuming the beverage.

He recalled, “I started feeling lightheaded and woozy after the second drink, thinking I might faint.

I requested to sit down, and he directed me to a large yellow beanbag chair.

As I reclined, I blacked out.”

Upon regaining consciousness, Brunton claimed that Takei had undressed him partially, groping him and attempting to remove his underwear.

He asserted that when he protested and pushed Takei away, the latter urged him to relax, insisting that he was merely trying to make him comfortable.

Years later, while Takei was on a book tour in Portland, Oregon, the two crossed paths again.

Brunton sought closure and attempted to address the past incident with Takei.

“I always wanted to confront him – I felt deeply betrayed.

I had viewed him as a friend, but in the end, I felt objectified,” Brunton shared.

Despite their coffee meeting, Brunton found himself unable to broach the subject, finding the situation too uncomfortable.

Responding to the allegations via Twitter on Saturday morning, Takei refuted Brunton’s claims, asserting that he had no recollection of Brunton at all.

He emphasized the seriousness with which he regarded the accusations, affirming that non-consensual behavior contradicted his personal values and principles.

Acknowledging the support of his partner Brad, whom he referred to as his life partner of over three decades and now husband, Takei expressed gratitude for Brad’s unwavering backing during challenging times.
