GG Allin’s Shocking On-Stage Act Revisited

Have you ever heard of the time GG Allin defecated on stage during a performance?

Recently, a humorous incident involving a toddler brought back memories of this notorious punk rock shock artist.

While playing in his backyard near a small inflatable pool, my friend’s young child decided to remove his swimming attire and defecate on the sidewalk.

Reacting promptly, my friend jokingly remarked, “Who do you think you are, GG Allin?”

The recollection of GG Allin’s outrageous show at the now-defunct Odd Rock Café on 2010 S. Kinnickinnic Ave resurfaced after this incident.

Although I wasn’t present at that particular performance due to being underage for club entry at the time, the tales from that night have left a lasting impact.

Back in March of 1989, GG Allin, known for his extreme punk rock antics, caused a stir by defecating on stage and hurling feces at the audience.

This behavior was consistent with his reputation for incorporating bodily fluids like blood, urine, and excrement into his live acts.

Reportedly, Jack Koshik, the proprietor of the Odd Rock venue, intervened and halted the show following the shocking act.

Subsequently, Allin faced legal consequences as he was charged with disorderly conduct and public indecency in Milwaukee.

The court sentenced him to a 90-day imprisonment term along with a $1,000 fine.

Post his legal ordeal, Allin penned the defiant track “Shove That Warrant Up Your Ass,” explicitly referencing Milwaukee in the lyrics.

Notably, his troubled background included growing up in a rustic New Hampshire cabin without essential amenities like electricity and running water.

Tragically, Allin made headlines once more when he threatened suicide during a Halloween Night show in 1990, though the
