Gianni Russo, known for his role in “The Godfather,” has recently claimed that he knows who was responsible for the death of Marilyn Monroe.
But before his acting career and association with the mob, Russo had a challenging upbringing.
As a 13-year-old boy with a polio-affected arm, he found himself sleeping in the back of a bakery in Little Italy and selling pens outside the Waldorf-Astoria.
It was during this time that Russo caught the attention of mob boss Frank Costello, who admired the boy’s spirit.
Impressed by Russo’s lineage, which included his great-uncle Angelo Russo, a Sicilian kingpin, Costello began involving him in mob activities.
Russo became a delivery boy for cash packages and was eventually granted an apartment by Costello.
Even to this day, Russo lives in a spacious Upper East Side apartment provided by the mob boss.
Russo’s life has been filled with extraordinary experiences, resembling scenes from a Martin Scorsese film.
He claims to have had threesomes with Liza Minnelli, engaged in altercations with Frank Sinatra, and even witnessed Elvis Presley playing with real guns during a movie screening.
Additionally, Russo recalls a peculiar encounter with Zsa Zsa Gabor, where she arranged for him to have s** with a stunning blonde.
However, it is the two killings that Russo admits to that have garnered attention.
One involved an associate of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, whom Russo encountered in Colombia after seeking protection from John Gotti.
The other alleged killing was a man who preyed on children, but Russo insists he was never charged for either crime.
Russo’s most shocking revelation comes in relation to his affair with Marilyn Monroe.
At the age of 16, Russo entered into a relationship with the actress, at the behest of Costello, who wanted him to keep an eye on her.
Monroe and Russo saw each other intermittently for four years.
Russo claims that three days before Monroe’s death from a drug overdose, he was photographed with her at the CalNeva Lodge, alongside Chicago crime boss Sam Giancana.
According to Russo, the mob had planned to film President John F. Kennedy and his brother Robert engaging in a threesome with Monroe at CalNeva.
The footage was intended to blackmail JFK into invading Cuba and returning control of the island’s casinos to organized crime.
However, the plan was abandoned when JFK failed to attend the meeting.
Russo believes that Monroe’s knowledge of this scheme led to her demise.
He alleges that a mob-affiliated killer injected air near her pubic region, causing her death to appear as a drug overdose.
Despite pointing fingers at the mob, Russo believes that it was actually Robert Kennedy who ordered Monroe’s murder.
He argues that the younger Kennedy was fearful of their involvement becoming public knowledge.
Russo also shares anecdotes about his interactions with JFK, including their partying escapades at a mob-run casino in Las Vegas.
Additionally, he reveals his involvement in money laundering schemes through the Vatican City bank and his unconventional path to landing the role of Carlo Rizzi in “The Godfather.”
Now in his seventies, Russo reflects on his life filled with remarkable experiences.
