Halle Berry Shares Her Past as a Stripper with Cardi B

Halle Berry and Cardi B team up as executive producers for the all-female hip hop soundtrack accompanying Berry’s latest film, Bruised, which she directed.

Cardi B, known for her openness about her previous career as a stripper, engaged in an Instagram conversation with the Oscar-winning actress, where Berry disclosed her own experience working on the pole.

The revelation took place during the premiere of Halle’s new interview series, 5 Rounds.

Back in 1991, Berry portrayed an exotic dancer in the movie The Last Boy Scout, alongside Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans.

She confessed to Cardi B that she actually performed t0pless at the Girls, Girls, Girls club in Los Angeles as part of her preparation for the role.

“I gave stripping a shot for two days and nights to understand the experience and see how much money I could earn,” Berry shared.

“I did pretty well… although not as much as you, Cardi.”

Reflecting on her past, Cardi shared that her go-to song for entering the stage during her stripping days was “Set It Off” by Boosie Badazz.

During their candid conversation, the two stars delved into intimate topics such as their preferred s** positions and hypothetical scenarios if they woke up as men.

Cardi explained her stance on not engaging intimately with financially struggling individuals, recounting an incident where a poor partner stole from her purse.

She cautioned women, advising them against such encounters to avoid ending up empty-handed.

Expressing her excitement, Cardi tweeted about meeting the renowned actress for the first time, marveling at Berry’s soft skin and humorously mentioning her desire to nibble on Berry’s shoulder.

The eagerly anticipated Bruised soundtrack is set to release on November 19, featuring a lineup including Cardi B, City Girls, Saweetie, H.E.R., Young M.A., Flo Milli, Latto, and more.

Fans can catch the movie in theaters starting November 24
