Hugh Jackman’s Hilarious Onstage Mishap as Gaston in Beauty and the Beast

It appears that Hugh Jackman has outdone Gerard Depardieu in a rather unexpected competition!

While Depardieu made headlines for urinating on a plane, the renowned actor from Real Steel, Hugh Jackman, managed to surpass that incident by having a mishap on stage, right in front of a live theater audience.

Sharing his amusing anecdote with Rachael Ray in an interview scheduled for Friday, the 42-year-old actor recalls his early days in theater, specifically during his performance as Gaston in Beauty and the Beast.

Jackman humorously recounts the challenges he faced, including the discomfort caused by the character’s costume consisting of red tights and knee-high boots, leading to persistent headaches for two months.

Seeking advice from an astropath, Jackman was advised to increase his water intake, which led him to consume a staggering four liters of water daily during his theater stint in Melbourne, Australia back in 1996.

As Jackman prepared for his first number onstage, he found himself in a precarious situation.

Recalling the comical moment, Jackman admits, “The most cardiovascular song I’ve ever done: literally I’m picking up Belle and as I pick her up, I stopped singing and right in that moment I realized the muscles you need to release in order to sing are the ones you do not want to release if you need to go,” highlighting the awkward predicament he found himself in.

In a candid revelation, Jackman discloses how he had to make a split-second decision on stage, opting to prioritize nature’s call over his performance.

Admitting to the embarrassing incident, he shares, “I’m carrying her [over one shoulder] not singing, and she’s going ‘What’s going on?

So finally, it’s embarrassing at this point.
