Jenny McCarthy Reveals Pre-Donnie Days: The Journey to Finding “The One”

Jenny McCarthy shared insights into her life before meeting her soon-to-be husband, Donnie Wahlberg.

During an appearance on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show today, the blonde beauty opened up about her quest to find true love.

After parting ways with her long-term boyfriend Jim Carrey, Jenny dedicated time to self-discovery before crossing paths with Donnie Wahlberg.

“I’ve been on a search for ‘the one’—you were even assisting me last time I was here trying to navigate my options—so I took a year off from dating and intimacy, focusing solely on myself,” expressed the engaged star.

McCarthy confessed, “I pretty much spent a year…just on my own.”

However, Stern playfully prodded her about her intimate moments during this period, suggesting she might have reserved time for self-pleasure—and he was right.

“I went through approximately 400 vibrators,” revealed McCarthy, who will be launching her SiriusXM show soon, emphasizing, “No other men.

It’s like the same story, different actors.

I realized I needed a fresh start.”

And that’s precisely what Jenny found with Donnie, with whom she will tie the knot “in a few months” in front of close to “80” loved ones.

The former View co-host shared that the guest list will not feature any celebrities, except possibly her friend Sherri Shepherd and, naturally, her soon-to-be famous brother-in-law Mark Wahlberg.

When asked about Mark’s presence at the wedding, Jenny responded affirmatively, mentioning that he won’t be the best man.

Instead, she hinted that their children will play significant roles in the ceremony.

Dispelling rumors, McCarthy confirmed that Mark Wahlberg and his wife, Rhea Durham, are supportive of her relationship with Donnie.

She described them as “lovely,” having met them last summer.

Jenny also announced the launch of her show, Dirty, s**y, Funny With Jenny McCarthy, airing weekly on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. on Sirius XM stars.
