Bestselling author Jackie Collins has recently made a stunning revelation, disclosing that the renowned screen legend Marlon Brando seduced her when she was just 15 years old.
According to Daily Mail online, Collins shared that she had a passionate fling with the icon, despite being underage at the time.
Collins, who is now 72, stated, “Marlon, who was in his early 30s back then, sent someone over to me at a party to convey that he found me incredibly attractive and would like to meet me.
We had a brief yet extraordinary affair.”
Had Collins made her allegations public at that time, Brando could have faced up to four years in prison.
In California, the age of s**ual consent is 18.
The affair, as per Collins’ recollection, took place in the summer of 1953, right before she turned 16.
While Collins had previously mentioned Brando making advances towards her at a party, she had never explicitly revealed that they had engaged in a s**ual relationship.
During an interview in 1995, she had shared, “I didn’t know any better, and he was quite slim then.
He was my favorite movie star, and I had watched ‘The Wild One’ 26 times before meeting him at a party.
It was a mutual attraction.
Despite him having girlfriends, I didn’t care.”
Not only was her affair with Brando illegal, but it also caused a rift between Collins and her older sister, actress Joan Collins.
