The last public interaction between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge occurred in September 2022, during an unexpected encounter in Windsor after the passing of Queen Elizabeth.
During their stay in Europe for charitable commitments, Prince Harry and Meghan decided to extend their visit in response to Queen Elizabeth’s demise.
The couple temporarily relocated from California, where they have resided with their children, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, since stepping back from their royal duties in 2020.
Following Princess Kate’s announcement of her cancer diagnosis through a video message on social media, Meghan and Harry promptly offered their support.
