Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Criticized for Exploiting Sussex Title in Rebranding Efforts

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing backlash for allegedly taking advantage of their Sussex titles, which they previously distanced themselves from when they stepped back from the royal family.

A scathing opinion piece published in The Telegraph accuses the Duchess of Sussex of refusing to leave the Royal Family alone, despite relocating thousands of miles away to start a new life in Montecito, California.

Camila Tominey, an associate editor at The Telegraph, extensively discusses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s recent “rebranding” efforts.

This includes the launch of their new website, which prominently features their Sussex titles.

In her article, Tominey argues, “There is absolutely no justification for these non-working royals to continue using their titles, especially when they have an entire website dedicated to proclaiming that they are more than just royalty.”

The new website replaces their previous platform, Archewell.com, as part of their strategy to reshape their public image in preparation for their future endeavors.

One of their recent announcements confirmed a partnership with Lemonada Media for a forthcoming podcast series.
