Prince Harry, aged 39, is making arrangements to bring along his children, Princess Lilibet, aged 2, and Prince Archie, aged 4, for a visit to meet the ailing King Charles in England, according to a royal expert’s opinion.
The recent revelation of the king’s cancer diagnosis has spurred Harry’s decision to reconnect with his estranged father, as he swiftly flew to the UK upon hearing the news.
Publicist Lynn Carrat suggests that the health scare has served as a wake-up call for Harry, emphasizing the significance of family in his life.
She expressed her view to the Mirror, stating, “Since King Charles’ cancer diagnosis and Harry’s quick dash across the pond, I think it has hit home with Harry just how important family is to him.”
Lilibet, who was born in the United States, has reportedly met her grandfather only once before.
Speculations arise from a PR expert, indicating the likelihood of Harry returning to his homeland alongside his children amidst his father’s health challenges.
Presently, Harry and Meghan Markle reside in Montecito, Calif, with their kids.
Carratt also anticipates an improvement in the relationship between Harry and King Charles due to the circumstances, as she believes Harry desires to nurture a stronger bond between his children and their grandfather.
Moreover, she envisions more frequent visits to the UK by Archie and Lilibet now that they are slightly older.
The hope lingers that King Charles’ illness might pave the way for reconciliation between Harry and his brother William, leading to a closer relationship among their children – including cousins George, Charlotte, and Louis, although such a transformation may require time.
Tensions have mounted within the royal family following Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down as senior royals and relocate to North America.
The couple has openly criticized the royal family on multiple occasions, but their tone seems to be shifting in light of the king’s health condition.
During an appearance on Good Morning America, Harry expressed his affection for his family and gratitude for the opportunity to spend time with his ailing father, hinting at upcoming visits to the UK to reunite with his family.
