Priscilla Presley Addresses Relationship with Elvis Presley Amid Controversy

Priscilla Presley has once again refuted claims of any intimate relationship with Elvis Presley when she was underage.

This comes as a new film highlighting their connection, controversies included, takes the spotlight.

The former spouse of the legendary musician took center stage at a press event at the Venice Film Festival just before the screening of Sofia Coppola’s latest movie titled “Priscilla.”

During a question and answer session, Priscilla was directly asked about their relationship, to which she provided a candid response.

She discussed their bond, which originated when she first met Elvis at the age of 14, while he was 24.

Priscilla emphasized that their relationship had not turned romantic at that point, despite the age gap.

Priscilla highlighted that Elvis was attracted to her because she would listen to him attentively and offer him emotional support, fostering a deep connection between them.

This bond endured even after Elvis returned to the United States following his deployment in Germany, where their relationship began.

Contrary to popular assumptions, Priscilla clarified that their relationship did not involve intimacy during this period, emphasizing that Elvis respected her youthfulness.

Despite this clarification, Priscilla has previously disclosed that Elvis would kiss her during their early interactions.

At the age of 17, with her parents’ approval, she visited Elvis for an overnight stay.

In light of the broader context, many have criticized Elvis posthumously, accusing him of pursuing a young girl.

Nevertheless, Priscilla stands by her sentiments, expressing no remorse and affirming that Elvis was the love of her life.

She confessed that her attraction to him persisted even after their divorce.
