Priscilla Presley Denies s**ual Relationship with Elvis when She was 14

Priscilla Presley has clarified that there was no s**ual relationship between her and Elvis Presley when they first met, despite a significant age difference.

Elvis, who was 24 at the time, encountered his future wife in Germany in 1959 when she was just 14.

They tied the knot in 1967, seven years later, when Priscilla was 21.

During a press event at the Venice Film Festival for the premiere of Sofia Coppola’s new biopic centered on their relationship, Priscilla emphasized that Elvis never exploited her, even though there was a ten-year age gap at their initial meeting.

Priscilla shared insights into their dynamic, mentioning how challenging it was for her parents to comprehend Elvis’ interest in her.

She attributed his attraction to her being a good listener.

She recalled how in Germany, Elvis confided in her about his deepest emotions, fears, hopes, and the everlasting impact of losing his mother.

Priscilla highlighted that their bond was built on mutual understanding and emotional connection rather than physical intimacy.

Despite being only 14, Priscilla believed that her maturity and ability to empathize made her stand out to Elvis.

She stressed that their relationship was founded on shared values and intellectual alignment rather than mere physical desire.

Priscilla admitted that she kept her involvement with Elvis a secret during her school days.

This discretion was something Elvis appreciated, as it demonstrated her loyalty and commitment to their relationship.

Their bond endured until their eventual separation in 1972, culminating in divorce the following year.

Reflecting on their tumultuous journey, Priscilla expressed that it was the lifestyle challenges rather than a lack of love that led to their parting ways.

NME’s review of Priscilla’s biopic awarded it four stars, acknowledging Sofia Coppola’s unflinching portrayal of the complexities within rock and roll’s iconic couple.

Based on Priscilla’s memoir “Elvis And Me,” the film features Cailee Spaeny as Priscilla and Jacob Elordi as Elvis.

It is slated for its UK premiere at the BFI London Film Festival on October 9 and will hit cinemas worldwide on January 1, 2024.
