She recounts how Hitchcock employed tactics of social isolation from the film crew, utilized his chauffeur to surveil her, made inappropriate advances, and attempted an unwelcome kiss while in the confines of his limousine.
Hedren recounts her steadfast refusal, triggering a series of psychological torment during filming, notably climaxing in a distressing scene where she endured being bombarded with live birds aimed at her face for five consecutive days, ultimately leading her to a breaking point.
Reflecting on her experiences during the production of Marnie, Hedren discloses a harrowing incident in her dressing room where Hitchcock subjected her to a deplorable assault.
