The once opulent aircraft now lay in ruins on the rocky terrain, with debris spread out over a 500-yard radius.
Tragic remnants of the tragedy included scattered personal belongings of the passengers, such as handkerchiefs, coats, and various articles of clothing hanging eerily from the branches of nearby pine trees, resembling somber decorations.
The engines of the plane were found separated by a distance of 50 feet, positioned to the left side of the wreckage.
Both wings had been torn off in the impact, while the tail section had been forcibly detached from the fuselage, leaving the charred cabin nestled at
