UFC President Dana White Regrets Incident with Wife in Cabo San Lucas

UFC President Dana White expressed his deep regret after a video surfaced showing him slapping his wife, Anne, during their vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, last month.

In an interview with TMZ on Tuesday, White admitted feeling “embarrassed” and expressed concern about the impact on their three children.

Throughout the years, White has advocated against violence towards women, making this incident particularly troubling for him.

He acknowledged the irony of discussing such behavior on a platform like TMZ.

Regarding the incident, UFC spokesman Chris Costello stated that neither the organization nor White would be releasing an official statement to The Associated Press, referring back to White’s comments made to TMZ.

The video capturing the altercation depicts the couple engaged in a heated argument, culminating in both parties exchanging slaps before being separated by onlookers.

In her statement to TMZ, Anne White emphasized the rarity of such behavior in their nearly 30-year marriage.

She attributed the incident to excessive drinking on New Year’s Eve, which led to a loss of control from both sides.

The couple has since addressed the issue as a family, extending apologies and seeking understanding.

Anne White appealed for privacy, especially for the well-being of their children, amidst the public scrutiny following the incident.
