During Entertainment Weekly’s cover shoot for his upcoming film “The Iron Claw,” set to release on December 22, viewers were taken aback by his altered look.
Dr. Sam Rizk, a renowned facial plastic surgeon, suggests that besides attributing the change to Efron breaking his jaw in 2013, there may have been additional enhancements made to his face.
According to Dr. Rizk, Efron might have undergone procedures like jaw advancements, chin implants, or mandibular angle implants to refine his features further.
In addition, Dr. Rizk observed a noticeable difference in Efron’s eyebrows.
He pointed out that Efron’s eyebrows, which used to be straight, now have a more pronounced arch.
This alteration could indicate a brow lift or Botox injections, resulting in a more feminine appearance, as arched eyebrows are commonly associated with femininity.
Furthermore, Dr. Rizk highlighted the apparent fullness in Efron’s cheeks, noting that such fullness typically does not occur naturally with age.
While ruling out the possibility of cheek implants, Dr. Rizk suggested that Efron might have opted for fillers to enhance his cheeks, restoring lost volume and achieving a more youthful look.
Following the release of video interviews featuring the 36-year-old heartthrob on EW’s Instagram, social media users quickly shared their opinions on Efron’s significantly transformed appearance.
Some criticized the changes, attributing them to fillers and Botox, while others went as far as suggesting the responsible plastic surgeon should face legal repercussions.
