Trump’s Shocking Remarks on Ivanka Spark Outrage

Miles Taylor, who previously served as the chief of staff to Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen during Trump’s time in office, revealed these accusations in his upcoming book titled Blowback: A Warning to Safeguard Democracy against the Next Trump.

Excerpts from the book were shared by Newsweek.

According to Taylor, Trump’s discussions included Ivanka’s body features and speculations on intimate relations with her, prompting former White House chief of staff John Kelly to intervene by reminding the president of Ivanka’s familial relationship.

Kelly later recounted this incident to Taylor with visible disdain, describing Trump as “a very, very evil man.”

In a tweet, Taylor condemned Trump as “a very sick man” and deemed him unfit for any position of authority, further expressing his astonishment at Trump’s lead in the GOP field.

Despite PEOPLE’s attempt to obtain a response from Trump’s team regarding the allegations mentioned in Taylor’s book, no comment was provided.

This is not the first instance where the former president has faced backlash for making inappropriate remarks about his daughter.

Past comments made by Trump on public platforms have stirred controversy, such as praising Ivanka’s physique on The Howard Stern Show in 2003 and stating that he would consider dating her if she were not his daughter during an interview on The View in 2006.

Taylor initially gained attention anonymously in 2018 when he authored a critical piece for The New York Times detailing his experiences working within the Trump administration.

In the op-ed titled “I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration,” the unnamed author disclosed efforts by senior officials to counteract Trump’s impulsive decisions and misguided behavior until his term concluded.

The piece outlined instances where meetings with Trump derailed into erratic tangents, leading to hasty and ill-advised choices that required subsequent revision.

Additionally, it was revealed in the op-ed that cabinet members contemplated invoking the 25th Amendment to oust Trump from office due to concerns over his conduct but opted against it to avoid triggering a constitutional crisis.

The author emphasized the presence of responsible individuals within the administration striving to steer policies in the right direction despite the challenges posed by Trump’s leadership style.

This revelation aimed to reassure the public amidst the tumultuous political climate, highlighting the dedication of those seeking to uphold ethical standards in governance.
