Brad Pitt’s Decision to Avoid Love Scenes in Movies Due to Angelina Jolie

There were certain boundaries that Brad Pitt chose not to cross in his movie career, influenced by his relationship with Angelina Jolie.

In the past, both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had performed passionate love scenes on screen.

However, Pitt reportedly made a deliberate choice to steer clear of intimate scenes with other actors after entering a serious relationship with Jolie.

Pitt made a decision to refrain from filming love scenes out of consideration for Angelina Jolie, respecting the intensity such moments could hold between actors.

The director of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” Doug Liman, shared that producer Dave Matalon expressed concerns about the love scene in the movie due to Pitt’s relationship with Jennifer Aniston at the time.

Liman recounted Matalon’s words to Entertainment Weekly, stating, “Dave said, Look, I’m honestly worried about the Jennifer Aniston fans out there.

I don’t want to lose that little niche audience of people who are huge Jennifer Aniston fans who are going to hate Angelina Jolie if the s** scene is too s**y.”

According to Pitt’s friend Frank Pollaro, Pitt was determined not to repeat past mistakes with Jolie.

Pollaro mentioned in an interview with Esquire via NY Daily News, “This is a guy who has tried not to do any s**y scenes with other women since he’s met Angelina.

He’s crazy about her, and she’s the same way about him.”

The filming of the 2015 movie “By the Sea” presented a unique challenge for Angelina Jolie, as she directed and acted alongside Brad Pitt.

Jolie revealed to Entertainment Weekly via Yahoo the peculiar experience of directing a love scene with her real-life husband, describing it as surreal to be n^ked in a bathtub with an iPad showing the shot outside while directing Pitt to join her for the scene.

Despite the awkwardness, Jolie and Pitt managed to navigate through the love scene by maintaining a light-hearted approach.

Jolie emphasized that discussing the absurdity of the situation helped ease any discomfort during filming.

In the movie “Allied” released in 2016, Brad Pitt’s intimate scene with Marion Cotillard reportedly caused tension with Angelina Jolie, although they were already separated.

Cotillard described the scene as initially uncomfortable but emphasized the importance of rehearsing and having a choreographed plan to allow for genuine emotions to shine through.

Rumors circulated that the on-screen chemistry between Pitt and Cotillard might have contributed to the issues between Pitt and Jolie.

However, Cotillard clarified in a statement that her relationship with her partner and their family were her priority, and she hoped for peace for Pitt and Jolie amidst their challenges.
