A collector in New York has purchased a 15-minute film showing Marilyn Monroe reportedly engaging in intimate activities with an unnamed individual for $1.5 million.

The broker of the deal, Keya Morgan, disclosed on Monday that the footage will not be made public to preserve the iconic actress’s privacy.

Keya Morgan, a memorabilia enthusiast, facilitated the sale of the silent, black-and-white film.

The original owner was the son of a deceased FBI informant who possessed the controversial footage.

The buyer, a wealthy businessman from Manhattan, intends to shield Monroe’s legacy by keeping the content private.

Expressing his commitment to preserving Monroe’s dignity, the purchaser emphasized that he has no intention of exploiting the footage for personal gain.
