Daniel Craig’s On-Set Mishap: The Spectre Incident

Portraying a secret agent can lead to unexpected challenges, as even the seasoned James Bond actor Daniel Craig found out.

Sharing a behind-the-scenes anecdote on The Graham Norton Show to promote his latest movie No Time To Die, Craig reflected on a less-than-glamorous moment during the filming of Spectre in 2015, according to IndieWire.

The particular incident revolved around a fight scene between Bond and Mr. Hinx, a menacing assassin portrayed by Dave Bautista.

Recalling the mishap, Craig mentioned throwing a punch that inadvertently landed on Bautista’s nose.

“I heard this crack and was like ‘oh god, no’ and ran away,” Craig humorously recounted.

Feeling a sense of trepidation in the presence of Bautista is quite understandable, especially considering his character’s brutal tendencies such as eye-gouging – a trait befitting a classic Bond villain.

Despite this, Bautista’s real-life persona starkly contrasts his on-screen roles.

Craig expressed his initial fear of retaliation, but was pleasantly surprised by Bautista’s amiable response.

“I thought he was going to come after me,” Craig admitted, “but he was so sweet.
