Madonna’s Horrifying Ordeal: Sean Penn’s Vicious Attack

In a harrowing incident in June 1987, Madonna found herself rushed to Cedars Sinai hospital for urgent X-rays following a brutal assault by her then-husband, Sean Penn, who struck her on the head with a baseball bat.

The violent episode unraveled during what was supposed to be a heartfelt conversation between the couple regarding potential reconciliation.

Despite the grave nature of the assault, Madonna chose not to lodge a formal complaint at the time due to Penn’s impending brief incarceration for an assault on a film extra and a probation violation stemming from an altercation with a fan.

However, this decision would later haunt her as the events of December 28, 1988, unfolded when Penn broke into their Malibu residence and confronted Madonna while she was alone in the main bedroom.

As detailed in Madonna’s report to the Malibu sheriff’s office, a heated argument ensued between the pair, during which Penn asserted ownership over her in a possessive manner.

Following Madonna’s declaration of leaving the premises, Penn resorted to using electrical cord to restrain her hands, inducing fear and panic in the songstress.

Subsequently, Madonna attempted to escape, prompting Penn to pursue her into the living area where he proceeded to bind her to a chair using sturdy twine.

Menacingly, he threatened to shave off her hair, perpetrating further psychological distress.

In a state of intoxication, Penn subjected Madonna to a prolonged ordeal lasting nine agonizing hours, characterized by physical violence and coercion, including compelling her to engage in degrading acts.

Departing briefly to procure additional alcohol, Penn returned to resume his abusive behavior, persisting until eventually untying Madonna.

Subsequently, she managed to break free, fleeing to her vehicle
