Harvey Weinstein’s Alleged Boasts of Relations with Jennifer Lawrence Detailed in Lawsuit

A recent lawsuit has surfaced with fresh allegations against film producer Harvey Weinstein, claiming he boasted about having a s**ual encounter with Jennifer Lawrence after another actress rejected his advances.

The unnamed accuser in this case further asserts that Weinstein forcefully engaged in oral s** with her, as revealed in court documents made public on Friday.

Weinstein has consistently refuted all accusations of engaging in non-consensual s**ual activities.

The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles, narrates how the unidentified actress was purportedly pushed to the ground during a meeting at Weinstein’s office back in 2013, where she claims he s**ually assaulted her.

In the legal filing, the woman recounts Weinstein’s words after she rebuffed his advances, allegedly stating, “I slept with Jennifer Lawrence and look where she is; she has just won an Oscar.”

Notably, Jennifer Lawrence responded to these claims by denying any intimate involvement with Weinstein, emphasizing their relationship as strictly professional.

Expressing empathy for the women who have been impacted by Weinstein, Lawrence condemned his alleged predatory behaviors.

She denounced the tactics of manipulation and deceit he supposedly employed to exploit numerous women.

The plaintiff in this case, identified as Jane Doe in the legal documents, is suing both Harvey Weinstein and The Weinstein Company, the film studio co-founded by Weinstein and his brother Bob.

Her lawsuit encompasses allegations of s**ual battery and discrimination against them.

A spokesperson for Weinstein dismissed the lawsuit as a strategic attempt to defame and shame him without prior communication with his legal team.

The representative stated that the claims made in the lawsuit are baseless and malicious, signaling intentions to pursue immediate dismissal.

Weinstein’s accusers have recently sought to prevent him from disclosing private emails in his possession.

He has petitioned a bankruptcy court in Delaware to access files from The Weinstein Company for his defence against s**ual assault charges in New York.

However, the accusers from a separate civil case are contesting this move, citing concerns regarding confidentiality and potential media exploitation of the emails.

Amidst these legal maneuvers, Weinstein’s civil lawyer criticized the accusers for allegedly obstructing the truth from emerging.

He underscored their purported efforts to sway public opinion while casting doubts on the authenticity of their motives.

Weinstein is scheduled for his next court appearance on 20 December.
