But it was also not torture.

I mean, come on, it was like a mix of both,” elucidating the complex emotions that arose during the filming of the romantic sequences.

Describing the act of shooting love scenes as an awkward and unstimulating endeavor due to the presence of numerous crew members, Gyllenhaal emphasized the mechanical nature of the process.

He likened it to a choreographed dance performance, meticulously planned for the camera’s lens, akin to orchestrating a fight scene.
