John Travolta’s Former Assistant Claims Six-Year Gay Relationship with Pilot

In a surprising twist that could lend credibility to the ongoing s**ual harassment allegations against John Travolta, the renowned actor’s ex-assistant has revealed shocking details suggesting that Travolta is not only homosexual but was also romantically involved with another man for a significant period of six years.

According to a report by RadarOnline based on an interview published in the National Enquirer, Joan Edwards, who is credited with having worked as Travolta’s assistant on film sets like “Urban Cowboy” and “Look Who’s Talking” from 1978 to 1994, disclosed that the actor was in a relationship with a male pilot named Doug Gotterba during the 1980s.

Edwards, quoted by the Enquirer, shared, “I handled all his tasks, both personal and professional.

It was evident to me that he was gay, but it never posed an issue for me.”

Regarding Travolta’s alleged involvement with Gotterba, who reportedly joined Travolta’s team in 1981, Edwards elaborated, “We were both part of John’s staff.

Doug is a great person, and we continue to maintain a good friendship.

He informed me about John’s homosexuality and their intimate relationship.”

The Enquirer also referenced statements from Robert Britz, identified as Gotterba’s partner after his time with Travolta, shedding more light on the purported affair:

“Doug mentioned to me early on in our relationship about his past homosexual connection with John Travolta during the 1980s.

Doug recounted instances where John made inappropriate advances towards him, but he tolerated them due to the lucrative nature of his job.”

“I personally viewed a brief segment of a home video owned by Doug, depicting John Travolta seated shirtless at the edge of a bed with food plates in front of him.

The footage seemed to be filmed in a hotel room.

Doug emphasized how beneficial it was for him to serve as what he described as John’s ‘right-hand man’ and romantic partner.”

Britz additionally mentioned that Gotterba eventually grew disenchanted with Travolta’s physical appearance, including his hairy body and fluctuations in weight between movie projects.

Despite the mounting allegations, supermodel Janice Dickinson, a longtime friend of Travolta, came to his defense.

Expressing her admiration for the iconic star, Dickinson remarked to RadarOnline, “If certain individuals misinterpreted actions at a spa, then that lies solely on them!”

In a somewhat perplexing statement, she added, “If someone desires unusual experiences, let them do so freely.”

Recent reports from HuffPost Celebrity suggest that several prominent TV journalists, such as Diane Sawyer, Katie Couric, and Matt Lauer, are vying for an exclusive interview with Travolta, who has chosen to remain largely silent amidst the swirling controversy.

A top TV executive quoted, “John is currently the most sought-after individual globally.

Everyone wants to speak with him, and he holds the power to decide whom he will engage with, should he opt to share his perspective at any point.”

Travolta, wedded to actress Kelly Preston, has faced persistent speculations regarding his s**ual orientation over the years.
