Mariah Carey’s Sister Arrested for Soliciting Prostitution

The estranged sister of the renowned pop sensation Mariah Carey, Alison Carey, was apprehended on Friday at a Saugerties, New York hotel, as reported by the Daily Freeman.

During the operation, a police officer, posing as a client, managed to capture her in the act.

Following the arrest, Alison reportedly informed the police about her connection to the Grammy-winning celebrity, according to Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra.

Describing her as a transient individual, Sinagra shed light on the circumstances surrounding her apprehension.

Sources within Mariah Carey’s circle expressed that the news of Alison’s arrest likely inflicted considerable emotional distress upon the pop icon, given the long-standing estrangement between the two siblings.

An insider hinted that Mariah has been the primary caregiver for their entire family, suggesting a complex dynamic within the Carey family.

According to police statements, Alison had been promoting her services online, with an ad posted on Friday that read, “I’m an elegant lady seeking gentlemen interested in exploring realms of pleasure beyond what other women can offer.”

Moreover, reports indicated that Alison made a subtle reference to her sister’s hit song “Fantasy” from 1995 in the advertisement, further intertwining her personal choices with Mariah’s public persona.

In addition to the legal proceedings, Sinagra issued a cautionary note advising individuals who had engaged in intimate activities with Alison in the past to seek medical counsel promptly, especially if such encounters were unprotected.

Subsequently, Carey faced arraignment at Saugerties Town Court before being remanded to Ulster County Jail, where she awaits further legal developments.

Her bail has been set at $1,000, with a scheduled court appearance on August 30.
