The King of Pop reportedly underwent multiple cosmetic surgeries to alter his nose, with the saga beginning in 1979 when he sustained an injury during a dance routine that led to a broken nose.
Following his first rhinoplasty procedure, Jackson was allegedly so pleased with the results that he pursued further surgeries.
However, the cumulative effects of these procedures purportedly resulted in Jackson resorting to prosthetics due to what was described as ‘nose cripple’.
Former housekeeper Adrian McManus made a startling claim about Jackson’s peculiar habit – the pop icon supposedly stored a collection of fake noses in a jar within his closet.
According to McManus, some of these prosthetic noses bore a striking resemblance to Jackson’s original nose.
She recounted to Rolling Stone, “In his closet, he had a jar of fake noses and stage glue, which he told me he used for disguises.
But some were similar to his real nose, just without the hole.”
Following Michael Jackson’s passing, reports emerged suggesting that his alleged fake nose was nowhere to be found.
An observer detailed to Mirror that, in the morgue, only a small dark cavity remained in place of Jackson’s nose.
The witness remarked, “The prosthesis he normally attached to his damaged nose was missing, revealing bits of cartilage surrounding a small dark hole.”
With Jackson’s demise, the enigmatic aura surrounding his nose transformations and surgical history has been put to rest.
