Rebel Wilson Slams Sacha Baron Cohen in Upcoming Memoir

Rebel Wilson, known for her “no asshole policy,” recently revealed the identity of the A-lister she refers to as a “massive asshole” in her upcoming memoir, Rebel Rising.

The individual in question is none other than Sacha Baron Cohen, famous for his role in Borat.

Wilson expressed that Cohen has allegedly been attempting to hinder publicity for her book.

Taking to Instagram in the early hours of Monday, March 25, Wilson vocally expressed her discontent towards the English actor.

She asserted, “I will not be intimidated or silenced by expensive lawyers or PR crisis managers.”

Wilson’s social media post explicitly named Sacha Baron Cohen as the subject of criticism in a chapter of her forthcoming book.

During the promotion of Rebel Rising, Wilson hinted on social media about her encounter with a “massive asshole” in Hollywood, which led her to establish a strict “no assholes policy.”

Reflecting on her initial experiences in Hollywood, Wilson shared insights into the significant impact of working with challenging personalities, solidifying her stance against such behavior.

Teasing her followers with hints of the mystery figure’s identity, Wilson provocatively asked, “Do you want to know why I have a ‘no assholes’ policy now with people I work with?

…Well, it’s all in the book.”

She also implied that the individual in question was actively attempting to impede the release of her memoir, set to hit shelves on April 2.

Wilson and Baron Cohen shared the screen in the 2016 comedy film The Brothers Grimsby, where they portrayed a quirky British couple.

Despite their on-screen collaboration, the movie received poor reviews and did not perform well at the box office.

During an interview, Wilson recounted uncomfortable interactions with Cohen, alleging that he pressured her for a n^de scene and made inappropriate suggestions.

The narrative took a controversial turn when Wilson disclosed that Cohen proposed a physically intrusive gag for a scene in the film.

Despite Wilson’s objections, she found herself in an uncomfortable situation due to Cohen’s persistent requests.

The actor defended his approach by emphasizing the positive aspects of their collaboration on the film.

In response to Wilson’s claims, Cohen’s representative issued a statement to Vanity Fair denouncing the allegations as baseless and unsupported.

The spokesperson highlighted the existence of substantial evidence contradicting Wilson’s assertions, including documentation, footage, and testimonies from individuals involved in the production of The Brothers Grimsby.
