Salma Hayek Embraces ‘Magic Mike’ Strippers at Home

Actress Salma Hayek recently shared a surprising anecdote about her experience working on the latest “Magic Mike” movie.

She confessed to developing a close bond with her male stripper co-stars and even extended an invitation for them to hang out at her residence outside of filming hours.

As the 56-year-old actress takes on a prominent role in Channing Tatum’s final “Magic Mike” project titled “Magic Mike’s Last Dance,” she portrays a wealthy divorcee collaborating with Mike (Tatum) to orchestrate a captivating stage performance, featuring strippers, within a London theater.

Throughout the filming process, Hayek disclosed that there was a warm camaraderie among the cast, emphasizing the positive dynamics that transpired during their time together.

Despite initial apprehensions, Hayek expressed gratitude for her husband’s understanding and lack of jealousy towards her interactions with the male entertainers.

She recounted moments where she would call him from the set, expecting the worst from the strippers, only to discover that they were genuinely kind-hearted individuals.

Her husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, a 60-year-old French entrepreneur and CEO of luxury conglomerate Kering, including prestigious brands like Gucci and Alexander McQueen, remained supportive and amused by her burgeoning friendships.

Married since 2009, the couple shares a teenage daughter and Hayek reminisced about the significant impact of their union, likening it to an “intervention” due to her past reluctance towards commitment.

In a recent candid interview featured on the cover of Glamour magazine, the Mexican-born actress elaborated on the evolution of her relationship with Pinault, highlighting moments where the strippers sought his advice on business matters, ultimately leading to his acceptance and affection towards her unconventional circle of friends.

Reflecting on the behind-the-scenes interactions during the filming of “Magic Mike’s Last Dance,” Hayek fondly recalled instances where her husband’s presence facilitated a deeper understanding and appreciation for the entertainers.

The actress humorously recounted how her husband gradually acknowledged the endearing qualities of the strippers, endorsing her evolving bond with them.
