Despite transitioning from Princess to General, Fisher highlighted how beauty standards remain a prevalent force in the entertainment realm.

During an honest conversation with British Good Housekeeping, Fisher disclosed the demands imposed on her to slim down significantly in order to embody Leia once again on screen.
