The Mystery Behind Julia Roberts’ Stance on n^de Scenes

Julia Roberts, known for her diverse and intense roles in movies like Erin Brockovich and The Secrets in Their Eyes, has made it clear that she is not willing to bare it all on screen.

Despite the speculation surrounding a particular scene from Pretty Woman, Roberts has been vocal about her firm decision to steer clear of n^de scenes in her films.

It’s interesting to note that despite her role as a prostitute in Pretty Woman and appearing in a film titled Full Frontal, Roberts has managed to keep herself covered up throughout her career.

In a candid interview with Vanity Fair back in February 1999, Roberts mentioned that she seldom agrees to film n^de scenes, and even when she does, she ensures that she is not actually fully n^de on set.

She uses clever tactics like tape and strategic camera angles to maintain her modesty.

Addressing the issue further in 2007 during an interview with E!

News via The Observer, Roberts emphasized that n^dty or revealing outfits are just not her style, stating, “Listen, there’s a reason why you don’t see me n^ked me in movies, you don’t see me running around in bathing suits in movies: It’s just not my thing.”

Roberts’ personal life as a mother also plays a significant role in her decision to avoid on-screen nudity.

Being a mother to twins Phinnaeus and Hazel, aged 14, and son Henry, aged 12, has undoubtedly shaped her perspective on such scenes.

Reports suggest that in the film Duplicity, where she had a steamy scene opposite Clive Owen, Roberts took charge and ensured that the scene was tastefully executed.

As reported by the Evening Standard, she expressed her discomfort with explicit scenes given her role as a mother, saying, “You know it’s not really what I do.

So if you are going ask me to do it, you have to expect it to be toned down.

You know, as a mom of three, I feel like that.”

Considering all these factors, it seems unlikely that Julia Roberts will change her stance on n^de scenes in the near future.
