Hollywood star Tom Cruise recently suffered a right ankle injury while performing a daring roof-jumping stunt for the upcoming movie, Mission: Impossible 6.
The incident has led to a temporary pause in the production of the highly-anticipated film.
In an official statement released by Paramount Studios on Wednesday, it was confirmed that Cruise had broken his ankle during the filming of a stunt sequence.
The statement, delivered by corporate communications representative Chris Petrikin, announced a break in production to allow Cruise adequate time for recovery.
