Traumatizing Encounter: 50 Cent’s Aunt Shocked by Unexpected TV Moment

An unusual turn of events occurred during a recent episode of his series Power, where 50 Cent’s fans were exposed to a surprising side of the rapper.

The 41-year-old star asserts that he did not authorize the inclusion of a not-safe-for-work full-frontal scene.

In a recent outburst, 50 Cent accused Courtney Kemp, the executive producer of the Starz crime drama, of featuring an intimate shot of his character engaging in a private act without obtaining his consent.

Taking to Instagram on August 6, the “Candy Shop” artist expressed his displeasure, exclaiming, “Man I just saw episode 4, of POWER.

Courtney I’m a kill you, this is not funny.

I think I just saw my [eggplant emoji] in a scene.

What the f–k Courtney call my phone NOW!!

!”

The controversy surrounding the incident was further addressed by 50 Cent during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

on August 23.

He clarified that while he was aware of the depiction of his anatomy on Power, he was taken aback by the explicit nature of the scene.

“I knew it was there, but in the original clips, it was darker.

It wasn’t on, like, a big screen, like a life-sized version,” he detailed.

“It wasn’t like, an accident.

Courtney was like, ‘I didn’t want to show it to you in the beginning because I didn’t think you needed to see it at that point … You just gotta take one for the team.’”

To add to the discomfort, the “P.I.M.P.”

artist revealed that his aunt reprimanded him for failing to forewarn her about the adult content before she viewed the episode.

“My aunt sees the show, and she’s like, ‘I’m traumatized!’” he humorously shared.

“She texted me like, ‘What the f–k?

Why didn’t you tell me?’”

Reflecting on his aunt’s amusing response, 50 Cent also took to Instagram earlier in the month to share her reaction.

“My Auntie G money, just called me and said man what the f–k did I just watch.

she’s traumatized.

She said she had to get up twice.”

Power can be watched on Starz on Sundays at 9 p.m.

ET.
