Mia Farrow Faces Backlash for Allegedly Removing Late Daughter from Family Picture

Controversy surrounding Mia Farrow has resurfaced as discussions related to Woody Allen’s alleged misconduct toward his daughter Dylan Farrow have been reignited by the documentary series “Allen v.

Farrow.”

The spotlight has shifted to Mia Farrow’s connections with her adopted children, particularly focusing on three who tragically passed away.

In response to mounting inquiries, Mia Farrow released a statement expressing her love for these deceased children while acknowledging their untimely deaths.

However, recent reports from Page Six shed light on a peculiar incident involving the exclusion of Tam Farrow, one of the deceased children, from a cherished family photo that Mia Farrow shared on social media.

Tam Farrow, an adopted child from Vietnam who was disabled, passed away at the age of 17 in 2000.

While Mia Farrow attributed Tam’s death to a prescription drug overdose, her estranged son, Moses Farrow, claimed that Tam died by suicide.

Following the broadcast of “Allen v. Farrow,” supporters of Woody Allen criticized the documentary for overlooking the tragedies surrounding Tam Farrow and her two siblings.

They also drew attention to the alleged digital removal of Tam’s face from the family photo that Mia Farrow had posted on Twitter in 2016 as a “Thursday Throwback.”

The photo captured Mia Farrow, alongside a young Dylan Farrow and her son Ronan Farrow, greeting Hillary Clinton in the mid-1990s.

While the original picture depicted Tam standing close to Mia Farrow, the altered version shared in 2016 seemed to obscure Tam’s presence through shadow manipulation.

As evidence surfaced indicating the photo alteration, a supporter of Woody Allen pointed out a 2012 tweet from Mia Farrow featuring the untouched photo where a smiling Tam was clearly visible.

Subsequently, Page Six reported that the modified photo and the 2016 tweet were removed following their investigation.

In her statement addressing the situation, Mia Farrow dismissed online rumors surrounding her children’s lives as unfounded and emphasized the immense grief caused by losing her children.

She highlighted her cautious approach to sharing details about her children on social media to respect their privacy and memory.

Mia clarified that Tam’s demise resulted from an accidental prescription overdose linked to health issues she faced.

She also mentioned the tragic deaths of her other children, Lark due to HIV/AIDS complications in 2008 and Thaddeus by suicide in 2016.

Despite Mia Farrow’s claim of safeguarding her children’s privacy, questions arose concerning the alteration of the family photo.

Page Six cast doubt on Mia Farrow’s privacy justification given that the original photo showing Tam contradicted her explanation.

Furthermore, Mia Farrow has encountered allegations of favoritism among her 14 children and accusations of mistreating some of them.

These claims initially stemmed from Woody Allen, with whom Mia Farrow had a relationship until it ended in 1992 following his affair with Soon-Yi Previn and allegations of molesting Dylan Farrow.

Moses Farrow, one of Mia Farrow’s children shared with Woody Allen, refueled these abuse allegations in a detailed blog post in 2018.

He shed light on the dysfunctional household dynamics orchestrated by his mother and recounted instances of her harsh treatment towards him and his siblings, including Tam.

Amidst the ongoing controversies, supportive statements from Mia’s children, like Ronan Farrow, have emerged, defending their mother’s nurturing role and combating efforts to discredit the family.

Mia has vehemently denied any abuse allegations, while Woody Allen has consistently refuted the accusations of molestation.
