Nicole Kidman experienced a startling accident when a paparazzi photographer, identified as Carl Wu, collided with her while riding his bicycle.
The incident took place outside the Carlyle Hotel in Manhattan shortly after Kidman had attended the Calvin Klein show during New York fashion week.
Luckily, reports suggest that the actress emerged from the event unharmed.
The freelance photographer, Wu, crashed into Kidman as he recklessly approached her on his bike.
Kidman, reportedly upset by the incident, initially considered taking legal action against Wu.
However, she later decided to drop any charges after law enforcement chose not to detain Wu.
Law enforcement officials issued Wu a citation for biking on the sidewalk but refrained from making any further arrests related to criminal behavior.
A police officer shared with TMZ that the collision was deemed an unavoidable accident.
This is not the first time Wu’s actions have stirred controversy.
In 2010, he made headlines for his reckless behavior while attempting to capture a photograph of Lady Gaga.
Wu’s actions have led to the creation of a Tumblr page titled ‘F**k you Carl Wu,’ indicating public discontent with his paparazzi tactics.
