In a new revelation that has piqued interest across royal circles, a recently published book has uncovered unflattering nicknames that and allegedly used for Queen .

Written by royal biographer Tom Quinn, Yes, Ma’am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants sheds light on the brothers’ complicated relationship with their stepmother.

Tom Quinn claims that the two royals, William, aged 42, and Harry, aged 40, weren’t always kind about their father ‘ second marriage.

Instead, they reportedly had a few “cruel nicknames” for Camilla, which included references to notorious characters like Lady Macbeth, Cruella de Vil, and the Witch of the West.

Such names hint at the brothers’ complex feelings towards Camilla since her marriage to their father in 2005.

The book suggests that both princes, while showing vulnerability at times, also exhibited moments of irritation and frustration—something that seems to be a shared trait in their family.

According to the author, former staff members of Harry remarked on his sensitivity and charm, acknowledging that even he could lose his cool like his father and brother.

In a parallel discussion within the book, Quinn reveals how William and Kate initially reacted to when Harry began dating her.

Surprisingly, they found Meghan to be a “breath of fresh air,” according to an insider.

This indicates that the dynamics in their relationships have shifted considerably over time, especially as tensions increased within the .

Harry’s sentiments about Camilla are elaborated in his 2023 memoir Spare, where he openly discusses his feelings toward her.

Notably, he mentions the emotional turmoil he experienced when Charles decided to marry Camilla, despite both he and William expressing their reservations.

Nonetheless, Harry ultimately recognized that his father was pursuing happiness with the woman he loved.

Harry’s reflections in Spare reveal his mixed emotions about embracing a step-parent.

While he acknowledges a desire for Camilla’s happiness in hopes that it might lessen any perceived threat from her, his sentiments also highlight the complexities inherent in their familial relationships.

These tensions have not gone unnoticed by Camilla, who, according to a friend, has felt “hurt” by Harry’s comments in his memoir.

Fiona, Marchioness of Lansdowne, stated that while such remarks do affect her, Camilla’s approach is to avoid dwelling on them, adhering to the philosophy that time will heal.

During a 2023 interview with Good Morning America, Harry clarified his stance on his relationship with Camilla, indicating that although they haven’t spoken in a while, he acts pleasantly towards her whenever they meet.

He expressed that he loves every member of his family despite the ongoing differences, suggesting a desire for reconciliation.

Harry also mentioned that he doesn’t view Camilla as an “evil stepmother.” Instead, he sees her as someone who made her way into the royal family and has worked to enhance her public persona over the years—an observation that adds another layer to the family dynamics.

As the narrative unfolds, it’s clear that the royal family is navigating through rocky waters, marked by past grievances and evolving relationships.

The exposure of these nicknames serves as a reminder that even within the most esteemed families, sentiments can run deep, and public personas often hide complex private emotions.
