Renée Zellweger Refuses Wine Offer to Disrobe on Film Set

Renowned Hollywood actress Renée Zellweger recently shared in an interview with Harpers Bazaar that she had been offered wine by film producers early in her career to encourage her to participate in n^de scenes.

Zellweger disclosed that she was enticed with alcohol by producers aiming to convince her to remove her clothes on set.

She vividly remembers being urged by unnamed producer(s) to consume wine, stating, “Here, drink this wine, ’cause then you’ll do it.”

Recalling the unsettling encounters, Zellweger recounted instances where producers were eager for her to disrobe, offering her wine as a coaxing tactic.

However, she stood her ground, asserting, “And, you know, I’m not gonna take that wine, but I would like a phone.

‘Cause I have a phone call I need to make right now.”

The specific movies or individuals involved in these incidents remain undisclosed to the public.

Despite the unsettling offers, Zellweger maintains a firm stance that she never perceived herself as a victim, downplaying her experiences compared to the challenges faced by other women in the film industry.

Expressing her aversion towards n^de scenes, the two-time Academy Award winner revealed that she declined director Cameron Crowe’s proposal for a t0pless appearance in Jerry Maguire during an interview with Premiere magazine back in 2001.

In response to allegations made by Harvey Weinstein suggesting that Zellweger engaged in s**ual acts with him for career advancement, the actress vehemently refuted such claims.

One accuser in a class-action lawsuit against Weinstein asserted that he insinuated trading s**ual favors for career opportunities, citing examples involving Charlize Theron and Renée Zellweger.

Although Zellweger collaborated with Weinstein on various projects like Bridget Jones’ Diary, Cold Mountain, and Chicago, she vehemently denies any involvement in inappropriate activities with the disgraced producer.
