Steven Seagal Walks Out of Interview Amid Questions on s**ual Misconduct

Steven Seagal abruptly ended an interview with BBC’s Kirsty Wark on Thursday when she raised inquiries about allegations of s**ual harassment, including a rape accusation against him.

During the Newsnight program, Wark addressed Seagal’s involvement in the #MeToo movement and how it has affected his reputation.

She directly questioned him, stating, “You’ve been very much caught up in all the allegations of s**ual harassment.

You had a rape allegation against you, and I wonder how you deal with all that?”

The actor, known for his role in Out for Justice, swiftly removed his earpiece and exited the studio as Wark reiterated that Seagal has consistently denied all allegations made against him.

Seagal, who was recently appointed by Russia as a special envoy to the U.S., is among the numerous influential figures in Hollywood who have faced scrutiny in the wake of the #MeToo movement.

Prosecutors from the Los Angeles District’s Attorney’s office disclosed in September that a 1993 rape accusation lodged against Seagal would not lead to charges due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.

This investigation was overseen by a specialized LAPD task force created to address the surge of accusations related to s**ual harassment and misconduct within the entertainment industry over the past year.

Actresses Jenny McCarthy, Julianna Margulies, and Portia de Rossi are among those who have accused Seagal of s**ual impropriety in separate incidents.

McCarthy recounted on her SiriusXM show last November an unsettling encounter during a 1995 audition for Seagal’s movie Under Siege 2, where he allegedly requested her to undress.

Margulies shared a similar experience with McCarthy, revealing that a casting agent guided her to a hotel room where Seagal was present and subtly displayed a gun.

Portia also detailed her distressing encounter in a tweet, describing an audition in Seagal’s office where he allegedly made inappropriate advances towards her.

Seagal’s controversial history with allegations of s**ual misconduct continues to shadow his career, despite his denial of any wrongdoing in these instances.
