It’s all fun and games until someone loses a finger while boating over the weekend. Lindsay Lohan, regrettably, was that someone this weekend. The anchor of the yacht damaged the Mean Girls actress on Sunday (October 2), slicing part of her ring finger.

Actually, she did lose half a finger for a short time, but it was discovered and reattached.

The 30-year-old actress posted a video of her bandaged hand on Sunday morning, explaining what had occurred.

“This is the result of me trying to help anchor the boat by myself,” Lohan stated on Snapchat. “My poor finger!”

In a different Snapchat shot, the 30-year-old added a caption to her tale.

“I almost lost my finger from the anchor. Well, I lost half my finger, thank goodness we found the piece of my finger,” the actress explained to her admirers.

“[Lohan] tried pulling up the boat anchor and became entangled in it,” according to TMZ. “The anchor pulled her down into the water and she struggled to get back in the boat as she tried untangling herself. The anchor sliced off the tip of her finger. Her friends went on the hunt and found the detached digit on the deck of the boat. They rushed LiLo to an ER, where a plastic surgeon re-attached it.”

While the location of the boating mishap is unknown, Lohan has been spending time in the Mediterranean with pals since an ugly dispute with her ex-fiancé, Egor Tarabasov, in late July.

In a series of social media postings, the Parent Trap actor accused him of cheating and partying hard, and even implied that she could be pregnant.

The actress, on the other hand, seemed to be in better spirits, as she laughed about her finger in an Instagram post.

“One handed selfie,” Lohan wrote in the caption of the shot, which also included a “Mean Girls” hashtag.
