Jennifer Lopez has candidly admitted to experiencing jealousy when other women flirt with her partner, Ben Affleck.

During an appearance on Today With Hoda & Jenna, the 54-year-old Marry Me star participated in a game called “This Is Me… Now or Then?” inspired by her latest album of the same name.

Host Hoda Kotb posed questions, prompting the ladies to indicate whether the scenarios applied to them presently or in the past.

When asked if she feels jealous when someone shows interest in her significant other, Lopez immediately raised a paddle bearing the word “NOW,” signaling her current sentiment on the matter.

Emphasizing her seriousness in safeguarding her relationship with the 51-year-old Affleck, Lopez warned, “Don’t play with me.

Do not play with me.”

In response to Kotb’s hypothetical question about how she would handle a situation where someone flirts with Ben, Lopez asserted, “First and foremost, I am a lover, not a fighter.

However, I would elegantly and gracefully communicate for them to step back.”

The union between Lopez and Affleck in July 2022 marked their reconciliation 18 years after their initial engagement in 2002 was called off.

Following their encounter during the filming of Gigli in 2001, they began dating and announced their engagement later that year.

Despite planning a wedding for September 14, 2003, the couple postponed and eventually ended their engagement in January 2004.

Subsequently, both stars pursued other relationships.

Affleck was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018, with whom he shares three children – Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.

Lopez, on the other hand, tied the knot with Marc Anthony in 2004, welcoming twins Emme and Max in 2008 before divorcing in 2014.

Reflecting on their past, Affleck previously acknowledged making mistakes in handling his relationship with Lopez, attributing its challenges to the overwhelming public scrutiny they faced.

Lopez, in turn, shared her struggles post-breakup, admitting to feeling lost and questioning her place in the industry following their separation in 2004.

Their paths reconverged following Lopez’s split from Alex Rodriguez in April 2021, leading to their rekindled engagement in April 2022 and subsequent marriage in July the same year.
