Two women who claim to be related to Simon Dorante-Day, the self-proclaimed “secret son” of King Charles, have joined forces to challenge his assertions of royal lineage.
Tracie, hailing from Gosport, Hampshire, aged 52, asserts she might be Simon’s sibling by birth, while Amanda, aged 56 from Buckinghamshire, claims to be his older adoptive sister.
Together, they operate a research group named The Fake Prince Down Under – The Research on Facebook, aiming to debunk what they consider as outlandish declarations made by Dorante-Day regarding his alleged royal parentage.
The 56-year-old father of nine, originally from Hampshire but currently residing in Australia, has persistently advocated for a DNA examination to substantiate his bold assertion.
However, the sisters, who opted to withhold their full identities, disclosed to the Daily Star that they have consistently refuted their brother’s claims, attributing his purported lies to a quest for significance.
Amanda speculated on the driving force behind Simon’s proclamations, suggesting a blend of monetary incentive and a yearning for acknowledgment as a figure of importance.
She refrained from definitively labeling money as his sole motivation, leaving it to the audience’s judgment.
Born on April 5, 1966, in Gosport, Portsmouth, Simon was adopted at eight months old by a local couple, Karen and David Day.
Dorante-Day alleges that Camilla cared for him until he reached the age of eight months, shielding him from public view.
He contends that his adoptive grandmother orchestrated his adoption when he outgrew the concealment phase.
Contrary to his assertions, the sisters asserted that his grandparents had no ties to the Royal Family.
During his initial televised interview, Simon recounted being informed of his adoption at 18 months without any documentation hinting at his whereabouts before then.
Tracie and Amanda disputed his claims, pointing out inconsistencies in his narrative, such as references to a woman named Sandra Pinder whom he purportedly sought out but failed to find concrete evidence of her existence.
Tracie emphasized the need for a DNA test to ascertain their biological connection.
The sisters possess Simon’s birth certificates and baptism records bearing Sandra Pinder’s signature, which they allege he is aware of despite his denial.
They underscored their willingness to unveil the truth to defend the legacies of individuals who nurtured Simon but are unable to present their own side of the story.
Amanda expressed her motivation to protect her family’s honor and rectify the distortions propagated by Simon regarding their familial background.
Efforts to reach Mr. Dorante-Day and Buckingham Palace for comment are ongoing.
