Tribute to a Dear Friend: Meghan Markle Honors Late Companion with Wing Dedication

Meghan Markle pays a heartfelt tribute to her late close friend, Oli Juste.

The Duchess of Sussex shared a message on sussex.com, revealing that a brand-new section at Mayhew Animal Home, an animal rescue center, has been christened in memory of Juste.

In 2019, Meghan crossed paths with Juste, who unfortunately passed away in January 2022, marking just three years since their encounter.

Taking on the role of patron for Mayhew, located in London, was a commitment Meghan undertook back in January 2019.

The announcement disclosed the inauguration of a fresh wing at Mayhew Animal Home in London aimed at enhancing the facility and providing enhanced spaces for dog care, training, and therapy.

The newly christened ‘Oli Juste Wing’ is a nod to the famed dog trainer and animal behaviorist, as acknowledged by Meghan, known as The Duchess of Sussex, in honor of their shared passion for animal welfare and rescue dogs.
